A new way to celebrate
We've set up a huge outdoor projector screen for summer movies under the stars. We love live music in the courtyard at sunset, and dinner parties at a big communal table. Most often though, is an intimate cocktail hour with a handful of friends. That's when I like to test my current cocktail ideas with my industry friends and then let them play with my homemade concoctions.
Surrounding the bar is a cafe-lit courtyard garden with lots of seating vignettes--including a large fire table. We have a trickling fountain in our zen garden underneath a lantern-lit ficus canopy.
Between the courtyard and bar, we have seating for over 40 and occupancy up to 80. There is a large adjacent yard that's available-- which we've used for 70+ dinning.
Noir is a craft cocktail bar. We have original and seasonal cocktails, fresh organic juice (grown on property when possible), a great collection of liquors and spirits, and homemade: bitters, tinctures, shrubs, syrups, cordials, and infusions. We take our time crafting cocktails and spend hours each week on R&D. Check out what is currently inspiring us and our past menus here.
Inside Noir there's cozy seating for 4-6, and bar seating for 2-4. Or we can clear out the furniture and throw a 20-person cocktail party in here. Cigar smoking is encouraged and last call is often way too late. We like to project classic movies on the back bar, or give everyone a turn at playing DJ.
I've been bartending in Los Angeles for 9 years. Before that I was throwing events at the Downtown Artwork and on the Sunset Strip. And before that I did a little interior design and a lot of art direction.
This combination is what shapes Noir. I love to entertain and host; to create a cozy environment and beautiful spaces; and to get creative with cocktails.
More about us here!
We are in the best neighborhood in Los Angeles. Don't take my word for it--here's a Huffington Post article about it.
We are blocks away from:
The Fairfax District Nightlife
We're located on a busy street--which makes the private oasis easy to find and muffles the sound of a happy crowd.
